The following information relates to the proposed new racing and exhibition facility to be located in Youngstown, Ohio. This aggressive, one-of-a-kind project would be the world’s first fully enclosed speedway.
Total size of the proposed facility is nearly 2 million square feet. The facility will include a three-quarter mile high-banked paved oval, over 600,000 square feet of exhibition and show space, and provisions for a multitude of entertainment events for the Ohio region.
This exciting project has been three years in development and could open as early as 2004.
Some of the events the facility will be able to offer include many types of racing, a variety of motorsports entertainment, consumer shows and exhibitions, family entertainment, commercial filming, concerts, automotive research & development, automotive training, and driving schools.
Race fan and local resident support for this state-of-the-art motorsports facility has been extremely strong.
